Objectified is a new documentary film in production from the creators of Helvetica.
It's an exploration of modern industrial design, the designers who make
the objects we love, and the relationship that users and consumers have
to the objects -- including everything from iPhones to toothbrushes.
It
looks fascinating. I'm also intrigued by a method they are using to
fund production, offering $500 memberships to "The Objectifiers". This
gets you a listing in the credits as well as a number of cool premium
perks.
